Warriors Bounce Back Versus Walpole, 60-36
With a strong defensive effort and committing just 8 turnovers for the game, Brookline downed the Rebels, 60-36. The Warriors were led in scoring by Lake Berry( 13pts), Shiraz Mumtaz(10pts), Scott Cordner(10pts) and Obi Obiora(8 rebs.).
“Our full court press was effective tonight and we didn’t give up second shots,” said Fiedor. “The main issue for us is our mental discipline with regard to our decision making throughout the game. We kept our focus and were much more deliberate in transition and our half court offense.”
Leading 29-14 at halftime, the Warriors broke it open in the third leading 46-22 by quarters end.
The Warriors travel to Braintree for a Tuesday night game, before returning home to take on Newton North.
