Warriors Turn It Over at Latin

Continuing a concerning trend, Brookline commits 22 turnovers at Boston Latin and loses 62-57.  Leading 23-13 with 5 minutes to play in the second quarter and having committed 2 turnovers to that point, the game shifted on turnovers and fouls.  The Warriors lost Anthony Jennings to a possible concussion half way into the quarter, and then proceeded to turn the ball over 20 times and allow Boston Latin to shoot 34 free throws.

“Our abilities are being hampered by our lack of discipline. Defensive technique fell apart and  the guys need to slow down their game on offense, and let oppurtunities develop, especially when the other team is turning up the pressure.” added the coach.  “We are a better team than we are showing, and the guys now it. We will continue to focus on ball care, defense, and being more deliberate on offense when we don’t have the transition basket.”
