Warriors Summer Clinic 2016

Brookline Boys Basketball finished the season on February 24 with a tough 67-63 overtime loss to Jeremiah Burke. As it was Senior night, denture we also said goodbye to 7 seniors: Ronan Schwarz, Edmund Geschickter, Tavian Morrison, Niles Cohen, Jared Farley, Patrick Webler and Eric Hall. By vote of the league coaches the next night, Schwarz was named 1st Team All-League, while Cohen received Honorable Mention. Coming in at 5-15, the Warriors missed out on the state tournament for the first time in Coach Day's tenure. We are proud to announce that applications for the 3rd annual Brookline Warriors Summer Basketball Clinic are now being accepted. The Clinic will run June 27-30 (Monday-Thursday) from 9:00-3:00 in Schluntz Gymnasium at the high school. Boys ages 8-14 are eligible. Brookline HS head coach Luke Day is the Clinic director, health care and the staff includes BHS JV coach Dave Ford and Freshman coach Darren Martinez. The Brookline Warriors Summer Basketball Clinic is committed to delivering high quality instruction on individual and team basketball skills. Daily activities – including drills, thumb games, dosage competitions and lectures – are planned to maximize both player improvement and player enjoyment. Campers will be grouped according to age and ability. Each will be placed on a team of no more than 10, with a coach for the week. Daily emphasis will be put on shooting, ball handling, offensive team play, rebounding, defense and other fundamental skills. Campers will not only improve on a day-to-day basis, but will take away from the camp specific knowledge about how they can keep improving. We are just as importantly committed to every camper having fun and developing a lifelong passion for the game of basketball. At the end of the week, each camper will receive a written evaluation and a t-shirt. Click on the link below to find out more information and download an application. 2016 Summer Clinic Registration
